Young minds pitching their future to our panellists and moving a step ahead to turn their dreams into reality. Spiznet was a Sports Entrepreneurship Event in association with our Sports Start-Up Mentoring Partner “Learning While Travelling”. The word “Spiznet” is made up of these three words that truly define the event, Sports, Business and Network. With this event, we aimed to provide a platform to the students of NMIMS ASMSOC to pitch their Sports Entrepreneurship Ideas to the panel, in teams of 2, in the form of a 4-5 minutes elevator pitch. The pair with the most attractive and feasible idea won an all-expenses-paid trip to Singapore, sponsored by “Learning While Travelling”. The event was a huge hit within the number one BBA college in the country with a footfall of 200+ people over 2 days of the event.

As we looked back at 2020, we realized how our lives had changed and the quantum of which was unbelievable. We at The Sports Club always try to innovate in the field of sports and the result of which was the BlazeRun. It was a virtual running event where participants, with the help of an app, could choose to cover various distances over the period of two days from wherever they were! Over 400 men and women from all over the country, belonging to the age category of 18-65, took part in the virtual run held on the 30th-31st January 2021. The event comprised of three different distances that the participants could choose to cover, which were, 5Km, 10Km and 21Km and had the chance of winning prizes worth ₹1,50,000. Blaze Run proudly partnered with Harman Finochem, Dudao, Fast&Up, Action Plus and many more as its sponsors.

Sportsmanship, enthusiasm, the spirit to win and team values; all on a single ground. Blaze’s most competitive event is held at the Jamnabai Narsee Playground which is also the official venue for Roots Premier League, Juhu division and official home ground of the All-Stars FC led by Mr. Abhishek Bachchan. The event is played in a 9v9 format for Men and a 6v6 format for Women. With top notch facilities at a newly built turf, best quality equipment and MDFA approved referees officiating the matches, we try to provide the highest level of footballing experience to all our national and international participants.

Blaze is a National Level College Sports Festival hosted by NMIMS ASMSOC Sports Club. It attracts more than 50 teams from across the country to compete for the championship and a massive footfall of 4000+ sports enthusiasts over 3 days of the fest. Blaze ventured into Football and later added Basketball after the success of its first edition. It is held at one of the most prestigious grounds in Mumbai with top notch facilities; The Jamnabai Narsee Playground. We ensure the maximum level of professionalism in terms of accommodation, amenities at the ground, proper equipment, trained professionals for officiating the matches, medical facilities and refreshments for our national as well as international participants.
